We are centrally located in Solon, and we service most of Northeast Ohio! This includes Summit, Cuyahoga, Portage, Lorain, Lake, Medina, Wayne, Stark, and Geauga counties.

The Third Estimate specializes in Windows, Roofing, Siding, Gutters, Gutter Covers, Exterior Doors, and our Insurance Claim Specialists work daily with homeowners to expedite wind and hail damage claims.

Unfortunately, we cannot give any quotes over the phone. We have so many product options and budget ranges to choose from. Because of these variables and differentiating sizes of windows, and homes in general, we create a custom estimate for each homeowner. This allows us to better fill the exact needs of each potential project.

In order for the estimator to give you a proper quote of what you’re looking to get replaced, we request that all parties involved are present for the appointment. We strive to offer flexible hours to accommodate busy schedules (Including evening and early Saturday morning appointments). We are more than willing to work with you to help find a time that works best for everyone.

Typically our estimates are valid for one year. Due to the lasting affects of Covid-19, material prices are subject to change at any time. This being said, our quotes are only good for 30 days. We would be happy to re-evaluate your estimate if you're looking to move forward after the 30 days.

Common Insurance Questions

We recommend having an insurance specialist from any home improvement company access the damage before contacting  your insurance company. This is because having a trained specialist advocating for YOU means the process is more streamlined for all involved. After we assess the damage on your home and determine it’s significant enough to make a claim, we will meet with the adjuster and get the improvements done for you to code with every needed expense covered. In the end, most times all you owe is your deductible.

NO. Your policy cannot be cancelled for filing a claim. This is especially true with catastrophe claims.

Call our office as soon as you notice any damage! Our Scheduling Coordinator will ask you about the damage you notice and will then schedule a time convenient for you to have one of our Insurance Specialists come out and assess the damage.

After a disaster happens, it’s very possible for insurance companies to increase everyone’s rates. By not filing a claim,  your personal rate increase is paying for everyone else’s damage except your own!

No. Most insurance companies give you only a short window of time to file a claim and after that period, they are NOT obligated to fully indemnify you for your loss. You need to file a claim as soon as possible in order to ensure that you get prompt and adequate coverage.

No. Your insurance company will pay only for the work that was contracted. In fact, depreciation will be held back and only be paid upon completion and inspection of the work contracted. Profiting from insurance is FRAUD.

Timelines may vary due to weather, time of year, and many other factors that can come in to play. We are more than happy to give you a better idea of the timeline you can expect once you decide on the products for your home.

Our Project Manager, Theresa Heinl, oversees all projects! She is not only in the office but also out in the field to ensure each job goes as expected. Theresa will be your point of contact throughout the entire install, and she is more than happy to answer any questions, concerns, or problems you may have

Payment & More

There is! Although we try our very best to be cautious of things around us while we are installing, it is a construction zone! We strongly suggest that our customers move any valuables out of the area, so no accidental damage occurs.

You can always call our office to make a payment! We also accept cash, check, credit card, and offer many financing options that are available with approved credit. Also, feel free to give your payment to any person from our company that comes out to your home. They will make sure to deliver it to our office.

If you’re a previous customer and refer someone to our company, we will send you $100.00 after their project is complete AND paid in full. The earning potential is endless. The more you refer, the more you can earn!
