We are located in Solon, and we service Northeast Ohio. This includes Summit, Cuyahoga, Portage, Lorain, Lake, Medina, Wayne, Stark, and Geauga counties.

Can I receive a quote over the phone, even if I have measurements?
We cannot provide estimates over the phone. Every one of our customers has specific needs, so we need to be in the home to determine what those needs are, for you to be able to make the most informed decision with an accurate price.
Do I have to be there when the estimate takes place?
It is best to have all decision makers present so that they can collaborate on product and colors. We understand this is a big investment, so we want to make sure all decision makers are happy with the choices that are made.
Does The Third Estimate provide quotes for commercial buildings?
Yes, we provide commercial roofing, windows, siding, and gutter quotes to fit your business’s needs.

Is it possible to purchase individual products without the installation service?
No, we are an installation company who installs all of the custom-made products we sell.
Common Insurance Questions
Should I talk to my Insurance Company before contacting The Third Estimate?
Before filing an insurance claim, we recommend contacting The Third Estimate if you notice any storm damage to your home. We have a dedicated Claims Team who will work with your insurance company throughout the entire approval process.
I have missing shingles from my roof, what should I do?
Call The Third Estimate. Our specialists are trained to recognize damage and will help you throughout the inspection process. We work hard to provide you with the best possible outcome for your individual situation.
Can I wait to file a claim?
In most cases, there is a 6 month to 1 year time frame from when the damage occurred to file a claim. It is important to reach out to us immediately if you notice damage so we can begin the inspection process.
If I shop for a lower price than what the insurance company estimates can I keep the extra money?
No, your insurance company will pay only for the work that was contracted and completed. Your final payment will be held back and only paid out upon proof of completion. Profiting from insurance is fraud.

What is the average timeline for projects?
6-8 weeks. Timelines may vary due to weather, time of year, and lead times.
Who oversees all projects?
Our expert production team, oversees all of our projects. They are not only in the office, but also out in the field to ensure each job goes as expected.
Payment & More
Before my install, is there anything I should do before it takes place?
We understand that your home and lawn are important to you, and we want to ensure that they are protected during our work. Before the install date, here are some precautions to prevent any damage:
- Clear lawn furniture
- Cover landscaping
- If you have a grill, cover it
- Clear your driveway of all vehicles
- Inform your neighbors of the upcoming install and any precautions that they should take (i.e. clear driveway, cover landscaping, etc.)
How do I make a payment?
We have several payment options available for your convenience. These include check, ACH, secure online invoicing, and financing. Please call our office for more details!
What do I receive for referring someone to your company?
If you’re a previous customer and refer someone to our company, we will send you $200.00 after their project is complete AND paid in full. The earning potential is endless. The more you refer, the more you can earn!
